EQUIPèCO nasce a Roma
-on line- nel 1997.
Il percorso di EQUIPèCO è iniziato nel 1996 insieme agli architetti Riccardo Candeloro, Paolo Cuttica e Giuseppe Di Giamberardino dello Studio Associato di Roma, con l’idea di offrire uno spazio per l’indagine e conseguenti verifiche della e sulla Rete.
Nel gennaio del 1997 inaugurammo EQUIPèCO ART FOR INTERNET, con la presentazione - presso l’Associazione EXTRA di Roma - dell’opera Ovunque e Sempre, di Carmine Mario Muliere. Gli intervenuti ebbero l’occasione di interagire con l’opera proposta.
Il 20 dicembre 1999 inaugurai la RIVISTA DI EQUIPèCO per poter esplicare questo lavoro che è dedicato alla comunicabilità.
EQUIPèCO ART FOR INTERNET e la RIVISTA DI EQUIPèCO sono state due aree separate a beneficio della differenza. L’esperienza della Rete ci ha suggerito che la virtualità di Internet evidenzia la potenzialità intrinseca della partecipazione attiva che diviene operativa nel momento della interazione che segna proprio quella differenza di arte su o per Internet.
Nel 2004 inizia l’edizione stampata. Il sito web viene aggiornato e reso precipuo al lavoro editoriale.

was founded in Rome in 1997.
It started its pathway in 1996 with the architects Riccardo Candeloro, Paolo Cuttica and Giuseppe Di Giamberardino of the Studio Associato di Roma. Their intentions were to have a space for research and a consequent verification of and on the net.
On january 1997 EQUIPèCO ART FOR INTERNET was started with the presentation at the Association EXTRA of Rome of the work Every and Everywhere by Carmine Mario Muliere. People had the chance to interact with the work.
On 20 december 1999 i started EQUIPèCO magazine to do this job based on communicability.
EQUIPèCO ART FOR INTERNET and EQUIPèCO Magazine have always been to separate things for the sake of difference. the net experience taught us the virtuality of internet highlights the intrinsic active potential that becomes operative at the moment of interaction that signs the difference between art on or for internet.
In 2004 the printed version comes out. The web site updated and made chief to the editorial work.
